Cold Laser Therapy Unit

Our laser therapy equipment can be used for pain relief of acute/chronic injury to the
athletic system, wound healing, fracture healing, arthritis, treatment of skin and mucosal
ulcers, a variety of chronic inflammation, nervous headache, dysfunction, rheumatism,
infective/non-infective inflammation and dermatosis.

Therapeutic Principle:

Our laser therapy equipment provides two laser irradiation methods:

• Laser shower head with 200mW power and 810nm wavelength
• Laser probe with 5mW power and 650nm wavelength

The laser of the above wavelengths is harmless to body tissue/cell but it can penetrate
skin, fat, muscle, blood vessel wall, etc. About 10% of laser energy will be absorbed by
blood during the irradiation. Clinical tests indicate that low level laser is a powerful
biological stimulation source which can improve blood circulation, nerve functions,
anti-disease ability, and accelerate regeneration of cells, hair growth, wound healing, and
tissue recovery.

Therapeutic Effects:

1. Accelerate the growth of granulation tissues and new blood vessels, stimulate protein
   synthesis, promote the sedimentation and cross-linking of collagenous fibers, and promote
   rapid wound healing.
2. Enhance the activity of lipoprotein lipase, improve the oxygen carrying capacity and the
   deformability of red blood cells, thus activating and cleaning the blood, reducing blood
   fat and viscosity, and regulating blood pressure.
3. Increase blood circulation, enhance the metabolism of circulating materials, and improve
   cerebrovascular blood-supply capacity.
4. Strengthen enkephalin metabolism, speed up endorphin release, enhance immune power through
   recirculation of leukomonocytes, strengthen the phagocytic activity of macrophages to
   diminish inflammation and odynolysis.
